Indigenus was founded in 2014 by Peter van der Post. The seed was planted at the beginning of his career in roto-moulding when he discovered a lack of high-design planters in the market, and the vision to produce the most beautiful, original and desirable planters began to grow.
Indigenus collaborates with the world’s best designers and artists to create beautiful sculptural planters.
In line with our sustainability objectives, Indigenus constantly strives to make planters for life, not just for a few seasons. It has taken years of refinement, many valuable lessons learned, and, ultimately, setting up in-house manufacturing to ensure that the planters are of the highest quality.
All materials are sustainably sourced, and the planters are made by hand. This craftsmanship puts Indigenus planters in a league of their own.
